Members will have the opportunity to discuss projects for Metz Park and Pool. Holly NA member Matt Hollon and Board Member Ian Wilson have been gathering ideas from neighbors, Metz staff and our park co-adopters, The Austin Bike Polo Club. They’re also working closely with City of Austin Parks Department and Aquatics Department personnel on maintenance needs and resources available for improvements. At the meeting members will be able to consider and prioritize our efforts as park adopters.

‘Neighborhood Block Parties - Advise and Help’ is also on the agenda for the September meeting. The Holly NA Board will be announcing details of it’s new “mini-grant” program to help organizers with advertising and some of the expenses of throwing a block party. We’re also asking some experienced block party hosts to come and give advice.
